About Me
I'm currently in the final year of a Fine Art degree at the University of Northampton and am looking forwards to the exciting opportunities that may or may not be awaiting me in the post-university future.
My art work has taken a political turn recently, which I think is because I'm essentially inspired by the things that are going on around me. Whilst I both enjoy making and appreciate looking at aesthetically pleasing 'escapist' art, I feel that sometimes art should be used to encourage people to think about the world we live in today and the way in which it is run - after all, so many artists have done so before me!
My plans for the future are vague at best but I'm hoping to be able to carry on creating and exhibiting a mix of politically and socially inspired paintings, satirical illustrations and observational folk art post-graduation.
